Students of Information Technology department got selected in Second ACM India National-level Hackathon for women.

ACM-W Hack 2017 provide an unique opportunity to interact and code with fellow students, get mentorship from Computing and Technology industry professionals – all in a collaborative and lively environment. During the Hackathon the participants will work on ideas/projects from the themes given below.


The contest consists of three rounds
First Round: The First round consists of an online submission of the project proposal and a demo prototype.
Second Round: Twenty (20) teams will be shortlisted for a Skype discussion with the judges in the Second round.
Third Round: The top ten (10) teams will be selected for the on-site Finals to be held at Chitkara University, Rajpura.

Following students of 5th semester Information Technology department are selected in top 10 teams in India and only team from Gujarat in Second ACM India National-level hackathon for women in computing supported by ACM-W India, Chitkara ACM Student Chapter, Chitkara University along with ORACLE Academy.

They were selected on the basis of scrutinised results over 2 rounds. Applications were invited from across India. Our team will be participating in final round at Chitkara university, Punjab for final round on 2-3 October, 2017.
