The Faculty of Law, Marwadi University has established our very first “Legal Aid Society” (LAS), Legal aid is basically a diverse term that refers to a variety of activities aimed at advancing society through the creative use of the legal system. The legal profession, as it is currently practiced and organized, is more concerned with improving the quality of legal services than with ensuring that legal services are distributed fairly and evenly. That is where the concept of Legal Aid comes into play: it aims to make law relevant to the masses who are left out and live below the line of visibility of law in action.
