Electronics and Communications is a discipline within electrical engineering. One of the most promising engineering fields, Electronics and Communications involves the transmission of information across channels like coaxial cable or optical fiber. It also deals with designing equipments such as routers, switches, fiber optics, and electronic switching systems.
The course involves application of mathematical and scientific principles to design and integrating electrical and electronics systems. The course also includes the study of the mechanisms involved in the generation of electrical power. Students also learn about the development and operation of communication technology. The course includes telecommunication and computer programming apart from core subjects like electronics engineering, telecommunications engineering, laser and optical engineering and integrated circuit design. Completion of postgraduate and undergraduate degrees in Electrical and Communications engineering opens doorways for students to work in different job profiles like service engineers, software analyst, network planning engineer and field test engineer.
It aims to deepen the knowledge and skills of the students on the basic concepts and theories that will equip them in their professional work involving analysis, systems implementation, operations, production, and maintenance of the various applications in the field of Electronics and Communications Engineering.

Electronics and Communications Engineering acts as a bridge between various branches of engineering and helps them in bringing their applications to live the world. Electronic circuits help to bring in life to the machinery by providing the power in a well-controlled manner.

Then communication part of this department is equally important since it facilitates the society with data flow to remote locations in nearly no time. One of the widely-known application is satellite communication that has made it possible to reach far ends of the globe in just a fraction of a second.

I was recruited in campus interview and currently, I am placed in Bangalore for my internship training.
