Best technical facilities give the best awards

In 21st century, Technology is playing a leading role in defining the development of a country. Technology has moved from manmade to machines and now to robots. Every country of the world is trying to lead over other country by way of making it highly updated with latest technology. Today, corporate are in requirement of young minds with technical skills in their minds. Competition within the industries for the race of latest technology is increasing with a great pace. Colleges are paying huge attention towards making their students as per the competitive environment. Various technical workshops, laboratories with latest technology and global tour are conducted to connect the students with rapid changing world. One same initiative is taken by the Marwadi Education Foundation, where the college aims to give country such talented minds who are updated with technology and can even transform the present technology in a better way. MEFGI is ranked among the top most engineering college of Rajkot, Gujarat.

MEFGI has different laboratories for different branches of B.Tech. For the Civil Engineering students college has mechanics of solid, earthquake, highway engineering and surveying laboratories. To clarify the concepts of Electrical branch practically, the college has EEE, electrical machine, power electronics and PG research laboratories. To make its students updated with latest electronics and communication engineering skills, MEFGI has UTLP, high frequency, digital, linear electronics and project labs which are equipped with latest equipments. The college puts all its efforts to make its students aware about the technology revolving around the globe. MEFGI motivates its students to take part in state, national and international competition where students get opportunity to showcase their talent.

The engineering students of MEFGI participated in Robocon 2016 – India. ABU ROBOCON India 2016 is an Indian contest of Robocon International 2016, organised by Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) and Doordasrshan of India which offers young engineers a platform to innovate and excel in creative thinking and to demonstrate their technical ideas in robotics. Out of total 105 teams across the India who participated in the event, Marwadi Education Foundation secured a First rank. The team was awarded by ‘Best Rookie Award’. The same was possible only because of the continuous efforts of the college in giving best technical skills to the students by all possible means.

MEFGI is such a platform where students can get the exposure to all practical aspects of the bookish knowledge. The college inculcates the technical skills in the students from the first year of undergraduate programme and keeps on polishing the same throughout the college life. Such minds are easily attracted by the corporate and in future contribute the inventions to the country. All this is possible only if the student is getting proper skills from the early age and MEFGI is putting all its efforts to make the same possible.
