As the world is becoming increasingly advanced in industrial, environmental and healthcare management, Department of Biotechnology envisions to be a leader to play a pivotal role in providing a platform for enriching knowledge, synthesize ideas and innovate in basic and applied biological sciences. Our department will polish the students to bring out their finest talents with strong academic, practical, professional and co-curricular attributes, preparing them for the competitive world and to serve the society.

Mission

The mission of our department is to provide holistic education to students. The preliminary objective is to invoke critical scientific thinking abilities in students by educating them in basic and applied areas of biological science. Students will be trained by diverse scientific attributes for identification, critical analysis and solving scientific challenges for improvisation of industrial processes and management of the environment and healthcare sector. Students will achieve these goals by linking the theoretical knowledge and practical skill sets to real-life scientific problems and identifying the pathways to solve them. Realtime exposure from industrial visits and internships will thrive them to become competitive. Research projects will be an integral part of academics, which will help them to think out of the box and work in a team.
