The real-time challenges related to the health sciences, agriculture, and biotechnology fields can be addressed by a blend of Biology and Computers. The recent example of the COVID-19 vaccine and drugs have added significant value to human lives across the globe, which is an application of advanced bioinformatics. In India, there exists a significant shortage of professional bioinformaticians, and there will be a massive demand for such professionals over the next decade to unravel mysteries in the healthcare, environment, agricultural, and pharmaceutical sectors.
