International Relations at Marwadi University
The vision of Marwadi University is to be a leading centre of academic & research excellence in India and the world since we believe we are living in the age of globalization. Globalization essentially means that new technologies are constantly changing both economy and education. For Marwadi University, internationalization is identified as one of the most important strategic objectives for institutional development.
MU’s vision & its objective of internationalization makes it vital that students and staff internationalize all their intellectual capacities. With this in focus, all members of the MU community encourage fostering of an environment of active research, teaching and other interactions on a regular basis with academicians and intellectuals from across the globe. By doing so, MU is looking forward to obtain and exchange the cutting-edge knowledge & skills required to serve the best interests of the academic community across the globe.
At MU, international academic cooperation is one of the tools to best serve the above purpose of convergence of knowledge, skills and culture in global context. Also, international cooperation promote MU’s public image and its visibility within the global academic scientific community and highlighting itself in the global education market. For MU International Academic, cooperation is also a means for enhancing and fostering an international atmosphere at our campus, thus promoting personal growth, tolerance and understanding of global responsibility among university stakeholders.
To accomplish its international strategic goals, MU signs agreements with various International Universities and Colleges to organize Students & Faculty Exchange Programmes for various Faculties and Departments therein.
For the same, MU has set up International Relations Office (IRO) with the purpose to promote and facilitate international academic engagements of MU.
This Desk works in collaboration with all Faculties and Departments under MU and acts at a key point for all internationally & strategically important crucial engagements with universities abroad.
International Relations Desk caters to:
- Initiating talks & establishing relations with international academic and/or research institutions and similar bodies.
- Collaborating with International Universities & Agencies and organize visits of their subject experts & students.
- Documentation of Agreements and MoU with International Universities and Companies
- Facilitating unilateral as well as bilateral Student and Faculty exchange programmes.
- Coordinate visits of MU Faculties and students abroad helping them make most of such visits
- Provide guidance and process their necessary academic & financial agreements for International visits
- Counseling students and faculties at MU about international Study and Research Grants, Schemes, Scholarships, etc.

Engineering Day Celebration with EURAXESS India at MU campus:
EURAXESS India Officer Ms. Ainhitze Bizkarralegorra Bravo, Country Representative, EURAXESS India with Dr. Shreejata Gupta EURAXESS Science Slam India finalist 2015 & Erasmus Mundus alumni visited MU and encouraged students to join EURAXESS and participate in Science Slam completion.
A group of 16 students and one professor comprising of Mechanical, Computer, Information Technology and Automobile Engineering visited Technical University of Kaiserslautern, Germany
A group of 11 students and one professor comprising of Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental and Chemical Engineering students visited Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Poland

Who to reach out to?
About Mr. Naresh Jadeja
Mr. NareshJadeja has earned a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from USA and acting as the Director, International Relations at Marwadi University. Mr. Jadeja is engaged in initiating dialogue & establishing linkages of Faculties of Engineering &Technology, Science, Management, Law, Pharmacy, Computer Applications, and Physiotherapy at MU with Foreign Colleges & Universities; facilitating International Exchange Programs for students & faculties.
Under Erasmus+’s Training Mobility, he is instrumental in initiating and executing student and faculty mobility programs and is now involved in facilitating international collaborative activities at MU.
He has a diverse local & international work experience of 20+ years of which 12+ years have been in the Education-Academia sector and the rest for working in Research setup in the USA.

Ms. Chaitali Shah has been working as Manager in the International Relations office of Marwadi University for the last four years. With a special interest in Cross-Cultural Management and the history of various countries, Ms. Chaitali has a rich experience of understanding international students’ needs and addressing them through execution of the right policies. She is instrumental in developing online system modules for international students helping them with FRRO, Visa, and other compliance requirements. She is the first point of contact for every international student in Marwadi University and has encouraged and celebrated more than 40 days of national importance of various countries to foster an environment of inclusiveness and diversified learning. Committed to strong inter-cultural ties and ethnic involvement in collaborations that bring about fruitful innovation for humanity.
