  • Plant Operations: Chemical engineers are widely recruited by Organizations in the area of Petroleum, Petrochemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Fertilizers, Agro-chemicals, Dyes, and Paints. Their Primary role in such industries is to ensure smooth operations of the manufacturing plant
  • Process Designer | Simulation engineer: As Process and equipment designer, a chemical engineer will be using sophisticated software/s to design and simulate the processes and/or equipment
  • Research and Development: A Chemical engineer can find himself working in an R&D set up of an organization or a govt sponsored CSIR Labs as a research fellow or Research Scientist
  • Sales and Marketing: For the sales and marketing of Specialty chemicals, organizations recruit chemical engineers in the role of sales manager
