The Diploma Engineering Programme of Marwadi University is designed with a curriculum focused on practical and skill-oriented training. It aims to provide students with industry or job-related knowledge, scientific skills, computing & analysis, mathematical techniques, a sound knowledge of English to communicate in the field and ability to apply problem-solving techniques.
Skill-based education is becoming more important today, with many employers expecting new employees to have all the practical skills they need to start work. Diploma courses of Marwadi University are typically designed practically focusing on skills, different from the academic degrees often taught at other technical institutes. Its duration is three years. The world recognizes a three year diploma programme as equivalent to Pre-Engineering course when considered for continuing studies in engineering-related bachelor’s or associate degree programmes.

Academic Framework

Diploma Engineering programmes in Marwadi University are being designed based on collaboration with Sector Skill Councils listed by Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), and are being a unique curriculum to bring a complete blend of seasoned learning with bringing industry support.
There are 6 academic semesters where the last semester is mainly dedicated to the Intensive Industry Internship Programme.
The academic framework lays strong emphasis on learning through hands-on experience. Courses in the foundation, technology and advanced technology feature state of the art lab infrastructure enable this without any hassles with theory and practical 30:70 weightage.
Subjects carry full industry focus to ensure that the students stay connected with a real working atmosphere all the time by means of live projects and active site visits.
To get further ahead, you will work on the latest cutting-edge lab, which not only simulates the real-time but also makes trainees cope up with field situations.
