International Relations Desk Caters To

Once enrolled for a programme at Marwadi University, our IRO facilitates the process and assists international students in settling down. Next, their prime objective is to develop and coordinate the international activities of the staff and students of the University. This involves providing support and feedback to the University management on staff and student global mobility. Key tasks of the office include:

FAQs

What is the Admission Process?

+

Step 1 – Students should check the website to see if the course they want to apply for is available or not at Marwadi University.

Step 2 – If the course is available send the Required documents to the concerned country coordinator.

Following Documents:

  • For the Diploma, send the Grade 10 mark sheet.
  • For the Bachelor send the Grade 10 and Grade 12 mark sheet.
  • For the Masters, send the Grade 12 and Bachelors mark sheets.
  • For the Ph.D., send the bachelor’s and master’s mark sheets.

To know about the concerned country coordinator ask on WhatsApp at +91 99099 20257.

Step 3 – Based on your mark sheets, if you are eligible, you will get an offer letter from the concerned country coordinator.

Step 4 – Before confirmation (Offer Letter), you need to pay $500 as a part of admission fees.

Step 5 – After the fees are paid, send the following documents and information to your concerned country coordinator.

Documents Required:

  • Mark sheets
  • Offer Letter which Marwadi provides
  • Admission fees Payment Receipt

  • Student’s full name
  • Country

  • Birth date
  • Email id

Step 6 – After the admission process is done, Students will get a confirmed admission letter.

Step 7 – Now, Students shall pay the remaining semester fees for further operations.

What is FRRO and what is the process to use for FRRO? +

Foreigners Regional Registration Officers. International Students can apply online for availing registration and other visa-related services in the office of FRRO/FROs in India. The application is aimed to build a centralized online platform for foreigners for visa-related services.

International Students need to report to the Student Section when they arrive at Marwadi University, and the Student Section will help them to do the further process for FRRO.

Is there any Scholarship for the applicants? +

Marwadi University provides scholarships between 45% to 100% on tuition fees depending on the nature of the admission, with a hostel or without a hostel.

Students can check the fee structure, which is after the Scholarship.

What is the procedure for Admission discontinuation? +

Students need to meet the Joint Registrar at the student section in order to cancel the admission. Students can fill out the admission form & finish pending formalities.

Is there any student dress code? +

Yes, As per your Department, you have been admitted, and you will get the Uniform from the Student Section.

What about University mess food? +

Marwadi University has a dedicated International Canteen for International Students to cater to their taste.

Does the University provide any help with Transportation? +

Yes, the Students need to avail themselves of the transportation facilities that live at & near Rajkot

What are the facilities for accommodation? +

Marwadi University provides accommodation to the admitted Students in their hostel if the Students have availed of the accommodation facility.

What if one takes admission to a hostel & then leaves the hostel? +

If a Student takes admission with the hostel and later changes to without a hostel, the student needs to finish pending formalities, if any. Apart from that, if the student has avail free flight option due to the hostel accommodation, they need to pay for the flight ticket in case of changes in 1st year.

What is LOR (Letter of Recommendation)? +

A Letter of Recommendation is also known as LOR. LOR is generally required during the studies if the student is going out for any kind of exchange program, Research, or any other kind of invitation by another university which is inviting the student.

This can be obtained from your department based on the consent.

How can I open Bank A/c? +

After your admission process is completed, students shall get messages whenever the bank officials visit campus from time to time in order to open the bank A/c.

How can I avail Indian SIM card? +

After your admission process is completed, students shall get messages whenever the mobile company officials visit campus from time to time in order to get Indian sim cards to the students.

What are the nearby attractions? +

There are many attractions at & near Rajkot Mahatma Gandhi Museum, Watson Museum, Girnar Mountain, Gir Forest National Park, Somnath temple, Jamjir Waterfall, Rann of Kutch, Dwarka, Polo Forest, Statue of Unity, and some amazing views of Beaches nearby.
