Overview

The 2 year M.Sc. IT in FinTech (Hons.) program has been carefully designed to provide the benefits of NEP 2020. This program has been structured with multiple entries – multiple exit option with added flexibility for the students in terms of Skill education, Open electives and so on.
Over the span of two years, our curriculum is designed to immerse students in Quantitative Finance, covering entrepreneurial finance, data analytics, and the transformative realm of FinTech. Students will gain insights into the structure of FinTech applications, exploring the technology stack and the critical information layer driving financial innovation. They will develop proficiency in data-driven financial analysis, harnessing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for predictive insights and visualization. Additionally, students will explore the disruptive potential of AI and Robotics Process Automation in FinTech operations. Advanced concepts in Blockchain technology will be introduced, focusing on its applications in Cryptocurrencies like Ethereum.

Students will exhibit expertise in designing and implementing sophisticated FinTech solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as RPA, Blockchain, Artificial intelligence, and Machine learning to address complex financial challenges and drive innovation within the industry.
Students will possess advanced skills in data analytics, enabling them to extract actionable insights from vast financial datasets using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques. They will be adept at utilizing data-driven approaches to inform strategic decision-making and optimize financial processes.
Students will demonstrate leadership capabilities in integrating FinTech solutions within organizational frameworks. They will be equipped to assess organizational needs, develop implementation strategies, and lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and integration of FinTech solutions.
Students will specialize in blockchain technology and its applications in the financial sector. They will have a deep understanding of Cryptocurrency markets, smart contracts, and decentralized finance (DeFi), enabling them to capitalize on emerging opportunities and contribute to the advancement of blockchain-based financial solutions.
