Introduction

The University is located on Rajkot-Morbi Highway, a little outside the main city area of Rajkot. But students and parents do not need to worry as there is ample transportation facility available to and from Rajkot. Timely pick-up and drop is done by the bus drivers who drive with utmost safety. Marwadi University has a fleet of 115+ buses plying to and from Marwadi University campus to Rajkot, Morbi, Gondal, Dhrol, Wankaner, Jasdan, Kalawad, Jetpur and Jamnagar at regular intervals for the convenience of students and staff. We have a workshop in the campus for in-house maintenance and repairs of vehicles to ensure complete safe travel. This is a prepaid cost-effective transportation service that follows a fixed regular time-table. There are over 600+ pick-up points that are planned keeping the convenience of the students in mind. The prescribed route is available on the website and notice boards of the University.

* Thangadh and Chotila route buses are also available if a minimum of 10+ students are confirmed.

Once the services are commenced, 1st half year fees are not refundable. A refund for second-semester transportation fees can be considered if cancellation is applied before commencement of new semester.

Important Notice:

Once the bus registration is completed and the transport fees are paid, all relevant details will be available through the MU Mobile App as well as through Web Login under the Transport Module.

The details will include bus number/title, driver name, contact details, bus timings, bus route, and pick-up point details. Additionally, GPS tracking and a virtual bus pass will also be available in the system.

If anyone is found travelling without prior permission or without paying the bus fees, it will be considered unauthorized travelling, and a bus fine will be imposed accordingly.

In such cases, the concerned student must meet the Transport Department within 4 working days; otherwise, the fine amount will be deducted from the security deposit.

The Cheque/DD to be drawn in favour of “Marwadi Education Foundation Transportation” after writing Name, GR No., Sem/Branch, and Contact No. on the reverse of the cheque for its application.
