Overview

The Mission of our department is to contribute to the holistic development of students. The primary objective is to provide an educational and research environment in basic and applied concepts of microbiology relevant to the living systems, environment, and industries. Diverse aspects of science and technology will be utilized to impart fundamental knowledge and to solve challenging problems. The preliminary focus of our department will be to acquaint students with the world of microbiology with hands-on practical training on fundamental techniques of microbiology. Our programme will encompass theoretical and practical aspects of advances in scientific research along with interactive sessions with subject experts and regular industrial visits. This training will enhance the problem-solving capability of students. Research projects will be an integral part of our course which will help our students to think out of the box and work in a team.‎ ‎
