About the Centre
University life brings more than academic demands, students are also navigating independence, new relationships, performance pressure, and the ordinary, everyday work of understanding themselves. The Centre for Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing exists to support that whole experience.
The Centre is Marwadi University's dedicated space for psychological support, emotional wellbeing, and mental fitness - bringing together mindfulness, psychology, cognitive science, and experiential learning under one roof. It is grounded in the belief that mental health isn't only about addressing distress when it arises, but about building the everyday skills - attention, self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience - that help students thrive throughout their time on campus and beyond.
At the heart of the Centre is Mind Lab, its experiential learning space, where students don't just learn about the mind — they experience it.
Our Vision
To create a culture where mental well-being, mindfulness, self-awareness, and mental fitness become an integral part of student life and education at Marwadi University.
Our Mission
The Centre works to:
Mind Lab - Our Experiential Space
Mind Lab is the Centre's dedicated experiential wing, where mindfulness, psychology, and technology come together through guided, hands-on experiences.
A calm space for guided mindfulness and meditation practice — helping students build awareness, calmness, present-moment focus, and a stronger mind-body connection.
Interactive activities, games, and challenges across four areas:
EEG and neuro feedback devices, brain-computer interface activities, and biofeedback tools that let students experience - not just read about - how attention, relaxation, and the mind-body connection actually work.
What We Offer
Our Approach
Every interaction at the Centre is confidential, inclusive, and rooted in empathy and professional care. Students are met without judgement, whatever they bring - academic stress, personal transitions, relationships, identity, or simply curiosity about how their own mind works.
We believe support and self-discovery go hand in hand: alongside individual counselling, the Centre encourages every student to reflect on their experience and ask;
What did I experience? What did I learn about myself? How can I apply it in my daily life?
That reflective habit is what carries the Centre's work from a single session or activity into everyday life studies, relationships, stress, decision-making, and personal growth.
