CAD/CAM, a specialized field within Mechanical Engineering, utilizes various computer-based tools for
design and manufacturing. Key concepts include Geometrical Modeling, Engineering Analysis, Software
Simulations Optimization, and Validation. In response to global market demands for high-quality,
cost-effective products, cross-functional teams rely on Computer Aided Design and Computer Aided
Manufacturing.
Our program emphasizes CAD/CAM principles such as Computational Geometry, Feature-Based Machining,
Computer Aided Engineering, Discrete Event System Simulation, Manufacturing Modeling, Product Life Cycle
Management, and Optimization Techniques. It equips students with the latest advancements in
Mechatronics, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Robotics, and Industrial Automation through a
comprehensive curriculum, guided coursework, and research projects
