Do independent physiotherapy assessment and treatment for patients/clients.
Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team to diagnose and treat movement dysfunctions as per red and yellow flags.
Develop skills for physical & functional diagnosis, treatment planning, management, and administration of physiotherapy treatment for patient support.
Find employment opportunities in Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Sports Teams, Fitness Centres, Community Rehabilitation Centres, Health Planning Boards, Health Promotions Services, Special Schools, Education Institutes, Industrial Sectors in both private and public sectors as well as in independent physiotherapy clinics.
Pursue further qualifications to attain a senior position in the professional field and to keep abreast with the recent advances and new technology.
Communicate effectively and flexibly in a manner that is appropriate for the patients and other healthcare professionals.
Acquaint with the basics of research, and to get involve in the research process.
Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics, responsibilities and norms of the Physiotherapy practice as provided by national and state councils.

It is my pleasure to introduce the Faculty of Physiotherapy at Marwadi University, Rajkot. Today, Physiotherapists are key players in the healthcare delivery system in India. They help in restoring and improving movements, keeping patients healthy, fit and active, thereby improving the quality of life. They also play an important role in avoiding surgery and long term use of medications.
The Faculty of Physiotherapy, Marwadi University is equipped with modern technology for teaching and research. We provide our students with a very conducive environment to pursue their careers & fulfill their dreams.
The ultimate goal of the Faculty of Physiotherapy, Marwadi University is to prepare Physiotherapists, who are excellent in the clinical as well as the academic field, dependable team workers and lifelong learners to practice as excellent therapists in a variety of health care delivery systems.
