Training Programmes for students

Marwadi University not only focuses on imparting course specific knowledge to students but also makes sure that students become future-ready by training them with the right skillset through different training programmes. Soft Skills Development Programmes

While stepping into the professional world it is important for students to have a strong character that complements their occupational skills. From communication skills to workplace etiquettes, we make sure that our Soft Skills Development Programme cover all the necessary aspects for MUites make a mark in the corporate world.

Personality Development Programmes

Marwadi University frequently organises various Personality Development Programmes for students to increase their employability. Under this programmes students are trained in the areas of speaking skills, behavioral skills, and more. This helps students in developing a professional personality and pave their path towards success.

Quantitative and Qualitative Aptitude Development Programmes

Placement-specific training for students

The Placement Department at MU organizes a number of training throughout the year for the students. From mock interviews to company specific trainings, here is a detailed look at their preparation process:

Mock Personal Interview

Pre-final year and final year students in engineering, MCA and MBA courses are trained through mock interviews by industry experts. This helps them practice and acquire the know-how required to face the actual interviews and successfully get through them. The students are guided on various aspects of the interview process, including communication, body language, basic core fundamentals, attitude, and goal clarity.

Mock Personal Demo

As in mock personal interviews, industry experts guide and observe the students in the mock personal demo training as well. In this category, students are mentored and taught on how to better their presentation skills.


Starting from the 1st semester till the 8th, MU students are presented with tests on Aptitude, Written English, Domain Coding & Computer Fundamentals, so as to identify their abilities, skill levels and areas that need improvement. This is done in partnership with CoCubes, a scientifically-designed employability assessment, which also registers final year students for placement on the platform.

Company Specific Trainings

Before the students give their interview, the Placement Cell holds a final training session known as CST or Company Specific Trainings for the final year students. In this, the students are briefed on grooming, the job role, communication, company details, resume, star-based questions, online interview etiquette and recapitulated on the basic fundamentals of the domain. This helps them in performing better during the actual interview.

Over the years, the number of companies that have associated with us for recruitments have tremendously increased. From just about 20 companies visiting the university in 2013 for campus recruitment, we now have 2000+ associates, including the most reputed companies, on board.
