India has for the past many years remained a job-seeking country, largely due to the lack of opportunities for funds to start new empires. However, some great people like Mr.Dhirubhai Ambani have proved that a good business can be set up and flourish if enough hard work and planning is put into it. Owing to this thought and further implementing the idea, the honorable Prime Minister of India, Mr. Narendra Modi has initiated the startup drive. In the past few years, dejected by the large spread unemployment problem the youth has taken to start their own businesses. These unique business ideas which are nothing like what has been done in the past are known as Start-ups. The Government is working towards providing funds to the students so as to encourage and support them. The vision of the Entrepreneurship cell or the E-cell is to induce the entrepreneurship spirit among students. In today’s tech-driven world, innovative and unique ideas are the key to success. Marwadi University, the top college in Gujarat, plans various workshops, speaker sessions, competitions and professional networking events for the students. These help the students to understand their resources and market in a better way.

Entrepreneurship cells are mostly like placement cells. As the Placement cells guide the students during the placements, the Entrepreneurship cells help the students to pursue their business and start-up goals. The cell organizes the number of events like entrepreneurs interaction sessions, entrepreneurship awareness camp, lectures, workshops and demo days. This helps the students to know all about starting their own business venture. With complete knowledge regarding business practices and techniques and their raw ideas, the students are able to create a well-connected business and become successful entrepreneurs. This startup initiative started by the PMO can only be successful if the youth is given the right guidance and support to start their own ventures.
