Hence, after the successful completion of 2nd edition, we have planned to organize the 3rd National Moot Court Competition to provide an environment where aspiring lawyers can enhance their legal proficiencies and mooting skills with a unique concept.

Career Opportunities
Lawyer / Solicitor / Litigation
For those students who want to stay independent can pursue Litigation as a career option. They can also take up practice without visiting courts, like lawyers specializing in drafting and executing various contracts.
Civil Services / Judiciary
Law is an excellent option for students who are planning to appear for Civil Services and other Competitive Exams. Law also gives an exciting avenue of becoming a Judge by appearing for competitive exams conducted by UPSC or State Level Public Service Commission.
Law Firms
Law firm is an option which can provide a jump start to one’s career. Law firms are majorly engaged in providing legal services and advice to corporate houses.
Foreign Law Firms
India will be opening doors to foreign law firms very shortly. This will bring a major increase in job opportunities for a law student.
Intellectual Property Rights Attorney
In today’s world where knowledge is freely available on the Internet, it has become very important to protect the inventions and innovations. Aspects like Patents, Trademarks and Copyrights are very important and therefore there is a huge scope of Intellectual Property Rights Attorney. Students having a Science background can have a definite advantage as an Intellectual Property Rights Attorney.
Corporate Counsel (Private / Government)
Most of the companies require legal professionals on a daily basis because of the increase in laws that require regular compliance. The company faces multiple legal issues on a day to day basis and therefore most of the companies have a team of in-house Counsels who advise management regarding multiple legal issues.
Academia / Higher Studies
There is a huge increase in law students pursuing legal education which has resulted in an increase in Law Schools. Those who are interested in teaching can pursue a career in academics after completing a Master’s Degree in Law.
Company Secretary
Law students can also get a distinct advantage if they want to pursue the Company Secretary Course. Many papers in the Company Secretary Examination are directly focused on different commercial laws.
NGOs
Many national & international Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) are working on improving communities and promoting wider participation of citizens. It is not only providing services to the people but also a lucrative platform to work and enhance one’s career at national and international level. Law students have better career choices in this area as many NGOs are working in the legal field.
Legal Publishing / Law Reporting (Media)
Media houses regularly cover important decisions of various courts and for the same they require reporters who understand the intricacies of law and provide analysis of the judgments. Many journals are published only for lawyers, like ‘All India Reporter (AIR)’. Professionals with law degrees are also required by such journals.
Legal Process Outsourcing
Legal Process Outsourcing is similar to Business Process Outsourcing that is expanding in India. Professionals generally work on contracts and cases from countries like the USA and UK.

We, at Faculty of Law, Marwadi University are committed to a show of cooperative and collective resilience. Hence, after the successful completion of 1st edition, we have planned to organize the 2nd National Moot Court Competition to provide an environment where aspiring lawyers can enhance their legal proficiencies and mooting skills with a unique concept. Keeping our uniqueness, the participation will be restricted to 1st year bona-fide law students enrolled in the 5-year integrated programme and 3 years LLB programme with the aim to inspire, promote and inculcate drafting & writing techniques, orating skills, and high focus research acumen in 1st year law students. The competition strives to give a platform to the budding lawyers of our country to imbibe analytical skills in real-time situations. The aim is to engage with students and allow them to have first-hand experience of the complexities of law.

My 1st semester with the faculty of Law at Marwadi University is a journey full of opportunities to develop my creative and dynamic thinking through various events and programs which take place in our college. Being host elite and living far away from my home, I built my own home here. All the teachers are very cooperative and ever ready to help. Through a well-developed department of music and sports, I am always able to fulfill my interests and this made my hostel life fun. The Faculty of law, even in a very short period of time has provided me the exposure to come forward and participate. I give a warm thanks to my parents and my department to help me grow better.
My life at Marwadi University made me stronger and took me a step ahead for being an independent person. I am thankful to all the teachers who were very cooperative, supported me and corrected me throughout my first semester. I loved the infrastructure of Marwadi University and its International life. The events that I took part in, helped me to grow my confidence and improved my personality. The lectures, especially in my semester, are not just aimed at making you pass an exam, but to have a wide and practical knowledge of the subject and to have an inquisitorial approach to what you are learning.
My experience in studying at Marwadi University FOL - As international students, we are allowed to research and study about the law and constitution in our countries - Marwadi University is providing us with international law - As international students we don't even feel like we are in a foreign land, because all the lectures are done in English - The teachers and students are cooperative and very open to help when you don't understand something.
