Objectives

Educational Objective of Diploma Studies focuses on skill and abilities of students with fundamentals of the discipline and base on professional training. The result sought by the learner at the end of the educational program, i.e. what the diploma students should be able to do at the end of a learning period, that they could not do earlier. Mechanical Engineer should able to design, analyze and improve practical systems. Mechanical Engineer will show the ability to communicate effectively and work well on team-based engineering projects.

Employment

Mechanical Engineering involves designing, development, production and use of mechanical tools to solve manufacturing & process issues. Generally hired by manufacturing industries, these engineering have employment opportunity in both private and public sectors. Government sectors like defense, railway, and GSRTC also hire these engineers. They also have equal opportunities outside India. The demand on for mechanical engineers with specializing skills in an automobile is on rising, as soon to become major choice for many aspirants to have wonderful career. The 3 years diploma engineering also prepares to pursue further studies leading to undergraduate and post graduate qualifications.

  • After completion of diploma mechanical, they are capable of starting their own business base on skill.
  • They can use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
  • Diploma Engineer will be able to work professionally in the area of thermal engineering.
  • Students will also prepare a major technical project, which demonstrates his learning and capability.

Eligibility
Criteria

For the purpose of admission to the Professional Diploma Courses, a candidate shall have passed the qualifying examination (SSC, STD.10) from, (i) The Gujarat Board; or (ii) The Central Board of Secondary Education Board (CBSE) or the Council of Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi or the International School Board or the National Institute of Open Schooling or equivalent, with minimum eligibility criteria of percentage of marks in subjects prescribed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) from time to time.
