State-of-the-art laboratories – consider

To achieve comprehensive development through hands-on learning, it is crucial to have advanced laboratory infrastructure. These facilities provide students with invaluable exposure to real-world industry practices. Our ongoing efforts are to establish cutting-edge labs equipped with the latest technology and setups to enhance student learning. These labs are meticulously maintained, regularly updated, and readily accessible to students for learning and practical experience. The department is fully equipped with State-of-the-art laboratories and facilities that include the latest and most advanced technology and equipment available for conducting experiments, research, and practical learning activities. These laboratories are designed to provide students with cutting-edge resources to explore and apply theoretical concepts in various fields of study, enhancing their understanding and skills development.

There are a total of 18 laboratories situated across four key departments: Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Analysis, Pharmacology, and Pharmacognosy. Each lab is generously sized and equipped with ample lighting and efficient air ventilation systems. Each laboratory is equipped with ample storage and workspace to accommodate up to 30 students concurrently, along with individual locker facilities for each student. Essential amenities such as gas and water supply, exhaust systems, hot air ovens, magnetic stirrers, microscopes, pH meters, Conductivity meters, Potentiometers, Hot plates, and water baths are available in all laboratories. These facilities are tailored to support both qualitative and quantitative analytical tasks for raw materials and pharmaceutical products. They are strategically designed to impart comprehensive practical analytical skills to students as an integral component of their academic coursework.

The department is equipped with cutting-edge instruments including a Probe sonicator, Tray dryer, Laminar air flow unit, BOD incubator, Gel Documentation System, Monocular Inverted Microscope, Rotary tablet machine, Refrigerated centrifuge, Karl Fischer automatic Titrator, Photostability Chamber, Brookfield viscometer, High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Double beam UV Spectrophotometer, ELISA, PCR, Electrophoresis, Automated Dissolution test apparatus, Extruder-Spheronizer, Multiple diffusion Assembly, Microwave synthesizer, Digital Weighing balance, Digital Hardness tester, Bulk density test apparatus, Friability testing apparatus, Digital oven, Digital Autoclave, and Mili-Q water purifier system.
