Situated in Rajkot, Gujarat, MEFGI aims to create leaders of tomorrow who can face the dynamic society and contribute in increasing the worth of country. MEFGI believes in overall personality development of students. At present the institute is offering under graduate, post graduate and PhD academic programme. Life at MEFGI is not limited to academic books only. The curriculum of the institute is designed in such a way which gives various opportunities to the students to showcase their talent. The institute is affiliated from Gujarat Technological University and AICTE.

The institute provides four year Bachelor in engineering i.e. B.E programme. MEFGI offers 9 branches in B.E. namely Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, Civil, Environmental Science, Automobile, Instrumental & Controls engineering. The eligibility for admission in B.E. is 10+2 in science stream with minimum of 45% and 40% marks for general and reserved category respectively. There are total 2100 seats in B.E. In the field of architecture, MEFGI offers Bachelor of Architecture which is a five year full degree course. The institute has 40 seats in B.Arch.

In post graduation academic programme, MEFGI offers Masters in Engineering, Master of Business Administration, Master of Applied Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Management, Masters of Computer Applications, and 5 year Integrated MCA programme.
